Ce que couvre cette vidéo

Lauren Landers hauls her boat out at Spice Island Marine in Grenada for bottom maintenance and hull work, marking her second consecutive year using this yard.0:03 The haul-out process includes applying new bottom paint, inspecting through-hulls, and waxing the hull.13:09 She commissions Sunshine Canvas to fabricate a full Bimini enclosure and protective chaps for her dinghy to prepare for an upcoming Pacific crossing.13:42 During the transition to the yard, her cat, Mako, requires emergency veterinary care for a respiratory reaction following a vaccination, though he recovers.7:12 The boat also suffers from a significant cockroach infestation, which necessitates ongoing pest control efforts.8:22 While the boat is in the yard, Landers stays in on-site apartments at Spice Island Marine to avoid the heat and lack of ventilation typical of living aboard during haul-out.17:27 Regular haul-outs every two years are recommended for maintenance and hurricane-season security.13:00
