Ce que couvre cette vidéo

The owner of an aluminum sailboat named Nomad begins a multi-stage refit while the vessel sits on the hard in Saint Petersburg, Florida.2:24 After clearing decades of accumulated gear and sails from the interior, the owner works with a marine electrician to install a new through-hull fitting for an air conditioning system.9:00 The installation requires a backing plate to reinforce the thin aluminum hull, which is then sealed with CT1 sealant and 610 epoxy.10:16 The owner also seeks advice on a complex, multi-intake through-hull manifold that currently serves the engine, head, and deck washdown, specifically regarding how to prevent barnacle growth and facilitate cleaning in warm Florida waters.20:37 Future project milestones include splashing the boat and attempting to start an engine that has been dormant for approximately ten years.23:26 The owner continues to manage the transition from land-based living to full-time boat ownership while coordinating with local marine professionals to address electrical and plumbing systems.
