Ce que couvre cette vidéo

The crew of the 10-year refit project vessel *Brupeg* upgrades the boat’s custom-built monitoring system, BruNet, while navigating to an anchorage near Facing Island for a New Year’s trip.Watch The team replaces a four-year-old prototype circuit board with a more robust, high-capacity version designed to integrate engine, electrical, and navigation data into a single touchscreen interface.2:18 This custom system tracks real-time fuel flow, battery state of charge, and engine performance metrics, including an algorithm under development to estimate propeller fouling based on fuel burn characteristics.21:24 During the transit, the crew maneuvers through a narrow, three-meter-deep channel near a reef before setting the anchor.7:24 They secure the chain using a Dyneema line and a 19mm shackle to offload tension from the windlass.9:29 The installation process involves mapping sensors to the new module, configuring Signal K data, and calibrating digital dashboard readings against analog engine gauges.27:51 Building custom marine electronics provides integrated situational awareness at a lower cost than comparable superyacht-grade commercial systems.20:04
