Ce que couvre cette vidéo
A GGR 2026 entrant named Andrea Lodolo conducts a handheld walkthrough of his boat, Bibi, at the race village pontoon in Les Sables-d'Olonne ahead of the start.0:45 He shows the storm jib and vane sail hoisted as a race requirement — both mandatory storm sails designed so all boats carry identical heavy-weather canvas — and explains that during a storm the plan is to sail under one of those two sails alone, with sheets led from the mainsail and storm jib.2:11 A second skipper, identified as Bernard, tours his Trebilcock 35, showing sail storage (two spinnakers, a staysail, storm jib, and vane sail made by Incidence in Brest), a Tripeak video streaming system, Starlink for live streaming, an Iridium sat phone antenna for contact with the race office, a Yellow Brick tracker, an AIS transponder, an Ecomax radar reflector, a Ciel-et-Mer AIS receiver, and an Ocean Power hydro generator from Germany.3:02:14 Bernard notes a sail inspection passed that morning covering the storm jib, spinnaker pole, and sail count, with a full equipment inspection scheduled for Wednesday.2:56:00 Damien Gilles is identified as the one professional sailor among the otherwise amateur fleet.0:01
