Marina and Michel upgrade their off-grid power system by installing an EcoFlow Delta Pro 3, replacing their previous Delta Pro unit.Watch The new station features dual-voltage AC output, providing both 110V and 220V simultaneously through a four-pin connector.2:28 To manage the transition between the EcoFlow and the local utility grid, they install a tetrapolar selector switch, allowing for manual switching between power sources.4:56 The pair also relocates their three 400-watt solar panels from a gazebo to the studio roof, reducing cable length by 8 meters to minimize voltage drop and resistance.6:51 Safety upgrades include the installation of a tetrapolar residual current device (IDR) and surge protection devices (DPS) to handle the complex wiring.10:20 The system powers household appliances, including a refrigerator, induction stove, and 3D printer, while also supporting high-draw tools like a MIG welder.14:19 Proper system dimensioning and professional-grade planning are essential when integrating high-capacity power stations into home or marine electrical grids.
