Ce que couvre cette vidéo

A Roycroft frame serves as a field-expedient backpack constructed from three sticks and cordage. The assembly process begins by folding the pack material, then securing the sides and bottom before lashing the frame together.0:31 The builder uses a single length of line to both hang the frame between trees and lash the structure, avoiding permanent knots in favor of a slippery knot to maintain tension.2:04 The frame design relies on crossing the cordage between the sticks to create a rigid, adjustable pack.2:32 This technique functions as one of the "5 C's" of survival, allowing a user to build a functional carrying system in remote environments using only available wood and rope.5:44 The final assembly requires tightening the cordage to ensure the load remains secure against the frame.6:59 Mastering this lashing method provides a reliable way to transport gear when a standard backpack is unavailable or stolen.
