Ce que couvre cette vidéo

Campania Island, located on the coast of British Columbia, features unique white sandy beaches and an arid, mountainous landscape that contrasts with the surrounding temperate rainforest.2:03 The crew of the sailboat Magic Carpet 2 anchors in the area to observe the island’s habituated wolf population.1:14 To avoid contributing to wildlife habituation, the crew avoids camping on the beach and keeps their distance while scouting from rocky promontories.3:50 Despite spending several days observing and hiking the island’s interior, they fail to spot a wolf in person.11:59 They eventually deploy a motion-activated trail camera near their dinghy, which captures a wolf approaching the vessel after they depart.26:22 The experience highlights the unpredictability of wildlife observation and the importance of prioritizing the enjoyment of a location over the pursuit of a specific goal.24:02
