Cosa tratta questo video

Drake and Monique, full-time cruisers aboard their 42-foot sailboat Paragon, demonstrate the Burley Travoy folding bike trailer as a provisioning and errand tool for liveaboard life.0:29 The Travoy weighs just over 10 pounds, carries up to 60 pounds, and folds into a bag roughly the size of a backpack, which they store in the forward head alongside other bags.4:21 A quick-hitch attaches to any bike seat post via an adjustable bolt, accommodating different post diameters between Drake's and Monique's electric folding bicycles.7:12 Burley's market bag system uses two-piece clips at four attachment points; webbing straps handle oversized or irregular loads.6:08 In a single outing, Drake uses the trailer to carry groceries, transport an empty propane tank to a gas station for exchange, and haul trash bags to a dump on the edge of town before closing time.15:52 The trailer also functions as a hand cart inside a grocery store.6:59 Earlier folding wagons and stand-up trolleys failed when towed by bicycle because they weren't designed for it; the Travoy's dedicated quick-hitch solves that problem.1:56 Bikes are raised onto the pier at low tide using a halyard and a preventer line for control.3:16 Burley provided the unit at no cost.2:29
