Yanmar's new electric inboard motor, available from 7 to 15 kW on a 48-volt system, is notably compact and fits the same engine bed as a diesel, allowing manufacturers to offer either option. Webasto's SlimFit isotherm refrigeration unit is designed to save space in existing cooler boxes.
