After a failed attempt to repair a leaking propane regulator with JB Weld and later 4200 sealant, the owner purchases a new local regulator and tank, only to find the new unit incompatible with the existing hose diameter. Simultaneously, the saltwater pump fails to prime. After replacing the pump with a new TMC unit, the owner discovers the issue is actually a blockage in the intake hose connected to the through-hull. The owner attempts to clear the obstruction by opening the through-hull while afloat, but the angle of the fitting prevents access from inside the cabin. The owner also fabricates a temporary door latch using a screw and bracket to compensate for sagging leather hinges.
