The Hans CHRISTIAN 36 is a 12.8-meter cutter-rigged sailboat with a long keel, designed by Robert H. Perry and built by Union Ship Co. and Hans Christian Yachts from 1974 to the present. It displaces 9979 kg with a 1.8-meter draft and 3.6-meter beam. The design is a lengthened version of the Hans Christian 34. Several nearly identical variants, including the MARINER POLARIS, UNION 36, MAO TA 36, and EO 36, were built by the same Taiwanese yard.17:58
