To secure the cutlass bearing, the crew glues the component into the stern tube with epoxy after sanding the interior to account for play.7:21 The bowsprit rebuild includes inserting fiberglass tubes into bolt holes to prevent water ingress and leveling the deck-seating area to ensure a flush fit for a new teak base plate.11:39

Engine work focuses on installing an Aquadrive constant velocity joint system, which uses a thrust bulkhead to isolate the engine from propeller-shaft forces.4:51 The crew uses a template to determine the bulkhead's position and plans to fabricate the final piece from aluminum.15:17 To mount the teak eyebrow without drilling into the new fiberglass cabin top, the crew glues T-nuts to the cabin sides to provide temporary mechanical fastening while the Sikaflex adhesive cures.19:04
