Barnacle growth is present within the discharge fitting. Future refit plans for the V-berth include repairing a mini bulkhead in the anchor locker and installing dedicated anchor locker drains to prevent water from entering the bilge. The project will conclude with sanding and painting the area. Replacing aged bronze thru-hulls requires removing degraded wood backing plates and addressing drainage issues in the anchor locker.
