During the transit, they maintain speeds between 5.5 and 6.5 knots with an apparent wind speed of 14.5 knots at 70 degrees. The crew reports heavy marine growth on their anchor chain and bridle after two weeks in St. Martin. While anchored in the lagoon, the crew also assists two kayakers from a youth camp at Kimshaw Beach who were struggling against strong wind currents. The passage continues past St. Eustatius, with plans to anchor at St. Kitts before proceeding toward Guadeloupe.
