O que este vídeo aborda
The owner of the vessel With Phoenix | Oliver troubleshoots a 12V DC electrical system failure while preparing for a trans-Pacific passage from Oregon to Hawaii.2:52 Multiple DC outlets across the boat show inconsistent voltage readings, with some measuring 13V at the supply wire but failing to power devices, and others showing only 5V under load.8:27 The owner identifies a daisy-chained wiring configuration where a loose or faulty connection at one outlet disrupts power to subsequent units in the circuit.5:33 By re-terminating connections at the circuit breaker and individual outlets, the owner restores power to the system.6:32 During the process, the owner replaces existing DC outlets with USB charging ports, requiring the drilling of new mounting holes and the fishing of wires through encapsulated bulkheads.12:55 The project concludes with all outlets functional.14:05
