O que este vídeo aborda
A traveler prepares to depart upstate New York for the Annapolis Sailboat Show, transitioning from a year-long land-based refit project to a mobile cruising lifestyle.0:16 The project involves a MacGregor power sailboat, which the owner modified for versatility as both a trailerable RV and a coastal cruiser.0:36 Key upgrades include a custom permanent bimini structure, with future plans for a full enclosure using Isinglass and mosquito netting, and a transition to a boomless mainsail.5:31 The electrical system is being overhauled with 1,200 watts of Renogy flexible solar panels, a 2,000-watt inverter, and 200-amp-hour lithium batteries to support an induction cooktop and an electric trolling motor for auxiliary propulsion.6:26 The owner intends to anchor the shallow-draft vessel near the Annapolis show and utilize an e-bike for shore access.9:36 Following the event, the route includes travel through the Chesapeake Bay and Cape Hatteras for kiteboarding, followed by a stop in Tennessee for further boat modifications before heading toward Florida and the Bahamas.10:35
