Wenceslao and Sil, a couple from Argentina, have spent six years living aboard and sailing internationally. Their journey began in 2018 after purchasing a 31-foot Tornado sailboat named *Bomben* in El Masnou, Spain, with a budget of 8,000 euros. Despite having minimal sailing experience, they spent their first year navigating the Spanish coast, the Balearic Islands, Sardinia, Tunisia, Sicily, southern Italy, and Greece. They later sold the *Bomben* to acquire a 37-foot French-built yacht named *Dolce Vita*, which they used to cruise through the Caribbean, including stops in Barbados, Saint Lucia, Martinique, Dominica, Curaçao, Aruba, Colombia, and San Blas, before completing an ocean crossing to Panama. Currently, the pair is based in Cape Verde, where they are refitting a catamaran. Throughout their travels, they have balanced their sailing lifestyle with remote work and professional pursuits, including legal practice and university teaching. They emphasize that their transition to full-time cruising was driven by a desire to prioritize travel and life experiences over traditional career paths.
