O que este vídeo aborda

A new cockpit sun awning is fabricated for Pablo Berrus's sailboat at Velas JB as part of preparations for a round-the-world voyage.0:01 Templates made aboard the boat are transferred to the new canvas at the sail loft, where two industrial sewing machines handle the stitching — one mounted at floor level, which Berrus notes is far more comfortable for working with large panels.Watch The finished awning includes two cutout windows positioned to keep the mainsail visible while sailing, and is installed taut enough to prevent water pooling.0:48 The work is straightforward: measure on the boat, cut and sew at the loft, mount and tension aboard.
