O que este vídeo aborda

Ben and MP provide a comprehensive tour of their wooden schooner, *Yabá*, currently undergoing restoration on land in Brazil. The vessel features two masts made of pau-brasil, a 2300-watt 24-volt windlass, and a 50-kilogram Bruce anchor. The deck layout includes a front-mounted Bimini, a swimming platform, and a system of malaguetas—wooden pegs used for mooring and securing lines in place of traditional cleats.

The interior tour reveals significant structural challenges, including widespread water infiltration and rot hidden behind plywood paneling in the galley, heads, and cabins. The owners have removed much of the interior finish to expose the hull and frames for inspection. The electrical system currently supports both 12-volt and 220-volt circuits, though the owners are evaluating whether to maintain this dual-voltage setup. The engine room remains largely unexamined in this tour, though it features dual access points. While the boat includes bow and stern thruster controls, the hardware is missing. The restoration focuses on addressing rot in the heavy wooden frames and sealing the deck to prevent further water damage.
