What this video covers
The crew of the catamaran Squib completes final interior and deck preparations ahead of a planned departure. Sabina and her partner install a dual-faucet system in the galley, utilizing separate foot switches to control freshwater and raw water pumps.6:03 They seal the new galley sink with silicone, noting discrepancies between the product’s online listing and the provided under-mount fittings.10:00 On deck, the crew uses a pressure washer to remove accumulated river sand from the cockpit and applies new non-slip decking material to the cockpit locker lids.11:18
Mechanical and electrical tasks remain ongoing, including addressing an oil leak on one engine that prevents the final installation of the head and holding tank.17:13 The mast remains unstepped, leaving the VHF antenna disconnected until the vessel reaches the Danube Delta.20:01 Other pending items include labeling the electrical panel, connecting the gas stove, and finalizing the wiring for the navigation lights and depth sounder.18:48 Despite the remaining workload, the crew mounts a dedicated bracket for an Insta360 camera and continues organizing the interior for the upcoming voyage.19:43
