What this video covers
The crew of Nandji - Frothlyfe is currently moored in the Knysna lagoon, South Africa, while performing maintenance and settling into the coastal town. After arriving through the Knysna Heads, the crew opted to remain at anchor rather than in a marina, citing the area as one of the few all-weather anchorages on the South African coast. While stationed there, the crew is upgrading their electrical system by installing a second Victron MultiPlus inverter charger to move from a 3,000-watt to a 6,000-watt capacity. This parallel configuration will allow for higher power draw, including the potential to run two air conditioning units and the water maker simultaneously from the battery bank. The installation requires relocating tools and modifying the storage area behind a bulkhead, which the crew refers to as the "man cave." Additionally, the crew is managing minor boat repairs, including a malfunctioning water maker, while navigating local logistics like public Wi-Fi and grocery shopping.
