The Albin Marine Ballad 30 is a Masthead Sloop designed by Rolf Magnusson, built from 1971 to 1982 by Albin Marine, and later by other Swedish yards until 1998.8:33 This 9.1-meter sailboat, with a 3.0-meter beam and 1.6-meter draft, was one of Scandinavia's most popular sailing yachts of its size.8:20 It features a fin keel with a rudder on skeg and displaces 3300 kg. The design evolved from the JOKER S30 and competed in the IOR 1/2 ton class. Auxiliary power options included various Volvo Penta engines ranging from 10 hp to 18 hp.
