Design & history

The Buccaneer 295 traces its origins to the Doug Peterson designed Chaser 29, an IOR 1/2 ton racer, with a different deck and coach roof. It was also offered as the Buccaneer 300 and later evolved into the US 29 and Triton 30.

Design

Origins with the CHASER 29, a Doug Peterson designed production IOR 1/2 ton racer, but with an entirely different deck and coach roof.

Production

Later, the company built a similar model called the US 29. When Bayliner ended its production of sailboats, the molds were passed on to Pearson Yachts where it appeared for a time as the TRITON 30.
