The Bavaria Yachts C42 is a fractional sloop designed by Cossutti Yacht Design, built by Bavaria Yachts since 2020, and recognized as European Yacht of the Year.2:47 It features a fin with bulb and dual rudders, an LOA of 12.4 meters, a beam of 4.3 meters, and a displacement of 9677 kg. The C42 is part of Bavaria's C-series, which includes models from the C38 to the C57, characterized by chined hulls and increased beam width for enhanced interior volume and performance compared to the earlier Cruiser line.2:06 Its LOA including the bowsprit is 12.9 meters, and it has an optional shallow keel with a draft of 1.7 meters. The C42 is powered by a 41.9 kW (57 hp) engine and carries 460 liters of water.
