The Elan Marine 37 is a fractional sloop designed by Rob Humphreys, built by Elan Marine and Elan Yachts from 2003 to the present. It measures 11.3 meters LOA with a 3.6-meter beam, a 2.3-meter draft, and displaces 5899 kg. The hull features a fin with a bulb and a spade rudder. A shallow draft version is available at 2.05 meters. The Elan Marine 37 was later replaced by the Elan Yachts 380, which features a vertical bow and a wide flared stern.0:46 The 380's hull uses infusion laminate with an internal reinforcing structure bonded to the hull shell, while the topsides and deck are sandwich construction.0:56 The underwater body is solid laminate with an outer vinylester resin layer.1:21 The deck layout of the 380 balances racing and cruising with wide side decks and a spacious cockpit.1:58 The 380's sail plan includes a 43-square-meter mainsail and a 44-square-meter non-overlapping jib.1:58
