The Endurance 35 is a long-keel staysail ketch designed by Peter A. Ibold, built from 1969 to the present by various professional and amateur builders in wood, steel, ferro-cement, and GRP. Its LOA is 10.8 meters, beam 3.4 meters, draft 1.5 meters, and displacement 8440 kg. Aboard *Velero Regina*, an Endurance 35 named *Regina* sailed from Dominica to Les Saintes in company with another Endurance 35, *Maeva*, encountering 25–26 knots of wind and nearly two-meter seas.watch The crew navigated a narrow, shallow passage into Les Saintes, anchoring in six meters of sand with 35 meters of chain.5:20 The Endurance 35 is among the eligible designs for the Golden Globe Race, participating in the 2026 Citroën Challenge Prologue shakedown race.0:07
