The Beneteau First Class 10 is a 10.4-meter fractional sloop designed by Groupe Finot and Jacques Fauroux, built by Beneteau from 1982 to 1987. It features a fin keel with a spade rudder, a 3.0-meter beam, and a 1.8-meter draft, displacing 2500 kg. Its main sail area is 28.3 square meters, and its genoa sail area is 33.3 square meters. Aboard *A Son de Mar*, sailor Joaquín Morán competed in offshore events with a Beneteau First Class 10, including a transatlantic race from Casablanca to Guadeloupe.15:44
