The Formosa 46 is an altered, lengthened version of the Kelly-Peterson 44 (Peterson 44 Cutter), first offered in 1976, reportedly built without paying design royalties.
Derived from the Kelly-Peterson 44 (Peterson 44 Cutter) plans; builders reportedly lengthened the hull by adding incremental distance between each station on the original plans.
First offered in 1976; said to have been built without payment of design royalties.
