The Moody 44-1 is a masthead sloop designed by Laurent Giles and built by A. H. Moody, Son Ltd. and Halmatic from 1973 to 1975. A shoal draft version with a 5.75-foot draft was available, and the model could be rigged as a sloop or a ketch.
