The Nordborg 34 is a fractional sloop designed by Holger B. Jensen and built by Nordborg Baadebyggeri A, S. since 2012. It measures 10.5 meters LOA with a 3.1-meter beam, a 1.8-meter draft, and displaces 5400 kg. Its hull features a fin with a spade rudder. Aboard 59° North Sailing, Andy Schell and Mia Karlsson considered replacing their Norlean 34, *Spica*, with an OE36, prioritizing the OE36's superior storage capacity and overall condition for long-term family liveaboard use.6:34 The Norlean 34 was deemed a capable vessel, but the OE36's extensive rebuild and meticulous maintenance by previous owners, combined with a positive test sail, led to the decision to transition.3:20
