Design & history

The TRITON 30 was built from the hull molds of the CHASER 29, a production 1/2 ton racer, with molds passing from Bayliner to Pearson Yachts; these altered copies were never approved by designer Doug Peterson.

Design

Hull derived from molds of the CHASER 29, a production 1/2 ton racer designed by Doug Peterson; unauthorized and altered copies.

Production

Bayliner purchased the CHASER 29 molds and built a slightly modified version called the US 29; when Bayliner ended sailboat production, the molds passed to Pearson Yachts, where it appeared as the TRITON 30.
