The Alcort Sunfish is a 4.2-meter lateen-rigged sailboat with a daggerboard hull, designed by Alexander Bryan, Cortland Heyniger, and Carl Meinart, and first built in 1952. Originally offered as wood kits, a fiberglass version was introduced in 1960, making it the most popular recreational sailboat in history. The boat displaces 58 kg, has a 1.2-meter beam, and a 0.6-meter draft.
