The Alcort Sunfish is a 4.2-meter lateen-rigged sailboat with a daggerboard hull, designed by Alexander Bryan, Cortland Heyniger, and Carl Meinart, and first built in 1952. Originally offered as wood kits, the fiberglass version, introduced in 1960, became the most popular recreational sailboat in history. Its displacement is 58 kg, with a beam of 1.2 meters and a draft of 0.6 meters.
