Henry details a turtle conservation program that has released over 6,500 hatchlings, a pyrolysis machine that converts 20 kg of collected beach plastic into 17–18 liters of biodiesel in three to four hours at a setup cost of roughly $11,000 USD, a farm-to-table organic garden, and a maggot-based composting system. Bamboo construction is treated with borax to prevent insect damage and reinforced internally with concrete-filled steel. A separate practical segment covers repairing a torn inflatable dinghy using a cut patch, a Dremel to scuff the surface, alcohol wipes in place of acetone, and contact cement applied in two thin coats before a 24-hour cure.
