Separately, the design team updated the boat’s interior and deck layout using virtual reality.6:58 Key modifications include lowering the cockpit floor by 100 millimeters, increasing backrest height by 60 millimeters, and shortening cockpit benches to shift the steering wheels forward.7:31 The mast position moved toward the stern to sit in a flatter area of the coaming.10:13 Interior adjustments include straightening the day head wall for more storage, angling guest cabin bulkheads to increase floor space, and enlarging the shower area.11:13 Future design work will focus on structural elements like chain plates and internal framing.20:17
