Ce que couvre cette vidéo
A 45-foot sailboat, Calypso, prepares for a Bahamas crossing from West Palm Beach, Florida, but cancels the trip after a pharmacy error invalidates the crew's mandatory COVID-19 test results. The Walgreens lab incorrectly dated the test, placing it outside the required 72-hour window for Bahamian entry.12:42 While navigating near Port Everglades, the crew receives a radio instruction from Navy Air Force Control to maintain a southerly course to avoid an active U.S. Navy submarine operating in a restricted zone between 1.5 and 3 miles offshore.6:59 The crew demonstrates the two-speed winch operation and Genoa furling technique to a guest crew member.10:08 Following the Bahamas cancellation, the vessel alters course toward the Florida Keys.13:08 The host, experiencing early pregnancy nausea, manages the transition while the crew maintains the boat's systems, including a stiff furling unit requiring service.15:07 The trip concludes with an evening at anchor in the Upper Florida Keys.19:27
