Ce que couvre cette vidéo

Property maintenance on an eight-acre off-grid homestead in Puerto Rico involves clearing storm-damaged vegetation, including fallen banana trees and bamboo, to maintain driveway access and fence integrity.1:00 Overgrown bamboo stalks that break and hang over the driveway require trimming to ensure delivery vehicle access for construction materials.16:16 The crew removes a fast-growing, hollow-stemmed tree that encroached on a fence line, replacing it with palm trees to reduce leaf litter accumulation.5:31 Additional tasks include weeding around gravel-covered areas and clearing brush from around a mobile 4x8-foot chicken coop.10:34 To manage broody hens, the owners use a portable coop design that allows them to isolate birds from nesting boxes, though one hen previously established a hidden nest in dense vegetation to avoid predators.24:09 The property owners utilize reclaimed bamboo for future projects and continue to manage the land to prevent encroachment while preparing for upcoming construction projects.19:20
