Ce que couvre cette vidéo

The owners of a Cape George Cutter 36, Magic Carpet, are accelerating exterior deck restoration to meet a one-month deadline imposed by their boatyard.0:20 To prepare the deck for painting, the crew sanded the surface and applied an epoxy primer before masking off patterns for the non-skid sections.1:24 Despite winter temperatures dropping to 10 degrees Celsius, they used propane heaters to maintain a workable environment for applying two coats of Epiphan paint.3:01 The crew opted for two coats rather than the recommended three to avoid the need for additional surface preparation during an incoming cold spell.17:57 While the exterior work progressed, the interior restoration continued with the varnishing of overhead beams, utilizing a Mirka orbital sander for large surfaces and a multi-tool for corners.14:14 The project emphasizes balancing time-sensitive exterior tasks with interior finishing details while working under yard-mandated pressure.
