In Barhoft, the crew encounters the Sea Shepherd vessel, which is actively retrieving abandoned ghost nets from the Baltic. They also host a local retired chef, Wolfgang, who prepares fresh smoked mackerel in the boat's galley. The crew plans to continue their transit toward the Kiel Canal, weighing options between further German ports or heading northwest toward Denmark.
