Cosa tratta questo video

Mads continues the interior refit of the sailboat Athena, focusing on constructing a navigation station and a shower partition. To create a curved plywood seat for the nav station, he uses a series of parallel cuts spaced by the width of two stir sticks, then fills the kerfs with thickened epoxy to achieve structural rigidity. He sets the seat height at 42 centimeters and depth at 45 centimeters, aligning the structure with the hull curvature. For the shower, he installs a foam partition to separate the head, planning for a folding acrylic door to prevent water spray. He notes that epoxy curing requires temperatures above 5°C, limiting his ability to tab components to the uninsulated hull as winter approaches.0:45 The nav station design remains constrained by the pending selection of a gimbaled induction cooktop and convection oven, which will dictate the final galley layout and counter space.
