To prepare for upcoming repairs, the crew sources argon gas for a TIG welder to install new stainless steel water pickups in the internal tanks, which will allow access to the bottom 300 liters of water. They also plan to needle-gun and repaint localized rust spots inside the tanks and on the stabilizer mounting bolts. The maintenance includes replacing rusted bearings on a utility cart and repairing a damaged air compressor hose. The vessel is scheduled to move to a nearby anchorage before being hauled out for further structural work.
