Earlier in the trip, the pair also attempted rock climbing at the Acantilado de San Juan, but failed to locate accessible routes due to a lack of detailed guidebooks and difficult terrain. The excursion concludes with a birthday celebration inside their motorhome. Poor trail maintenance by private horse-tour operators can render remote mountain paths impassable for hikers.
