Edgar and Sâmia continue the interior fit-out of their boat, focusing on the galley cabinetry and the application of beige and wood-grain formica.0:09 The project required modifying a drawer unit after Edgar realized the original design blocked the routing for hot and cold water lines.1:49 After cutting down the drawer size to accommodate the plumbing, the team successfully installed the lines leading to the sink area.2:03 The finishing process involves applying contact adhesive to both the substrate and the formica edge banding, waiting 15 minutes for the glue to tack, and using a heat gun to mold the material around curves.5:13 The galley layout includes dedicated spaces for a stove and oven, with plans to install green marble-patterned formica on the countertop.14:02 The crew works through the night to complete the lower cabinetry, aiming to finish the interior construction to meet their goal of launching the vessel in 2025.9:31
