The Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 is a fractional sloop designed by Finot - Conq Associates and built by Beneteau from 2016 to the present. It measures 12.4 meters LOA, has a 4.2-meter beam, a 2.2-meter draft, and displaces 7835 kg. The design is an updated version of the Oceanis 41, offering a shallow draft option of 1.68 meters and multiple sail plan configurations, including a classic mainsail (40 m2) or furler (33 m2), a 106% genoa (42 m2), a self-tacking jib (33 m2), an asym spinnaker (129 m2), a Code 0 (78.3 m2), and a staysail on furler (20.9 m2). Aboard *Sailing Mirage*, the owner previously sailed a Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 named *Melody* for four months in the Bahamas and on a Bermuda offshore passage before acquiring an Amel 50.16:33
