The C&C Yachts Mega 30 Od is a 9.1-meter fractional sloop with a lifting keel, designed by C&C Design and built by C&C Yachts from 1977. This 2041 kg sailboat was developed as a joint venture between C&C Yachts and North Sails, intended as a mass-marketed, trailerable one-design. Peter Barrett of North Sails brought the concept to C&C, with design oversight from Barrett and George Cuthbertson, and execution by the C&C Design Group led by Rob Ball. Initial production occurred in Canada, later expanding to the US and Germany. The original one-design version features a lifting keel with a bulb, while later US versions, which dropped the "ONE-DESIGN" designation, incorporated a fixed keel. The C&C Yachts Mega 30 Od is distinct from the C&C Yachts 40-1, a dual-purpose racer-cruiser from the same era.
