The Westerly Marine Ltd. Cirrus 22 is a 6.7-meter fractional sloop designed by John A. Butler and built from 1968 to 1972. It features a fin keel with a spade rudder and displaces 1469 kg. A diesel inboard engine was an available option, and some models have a taller rig. Aboard *Sailing Nahoa*, a 1974 Cirrus 22 named *Nahoa M* is used as a budget-friendly pocket cruiser.0:10 This boat is powered by a 15-horsepower Beta engine, a marinized Kubota diesel, and has a manual windlass.8:27 Its interior includes a V-berth with an extension, a galley with a portable propane stove and foot-pump freshwater, and a head with a pivoting composting toilet.9:21 A propane heater warms the cabin.4:23 The electrical system uses a dedicated fuse panel for navigation instruments, including VHF, depth sounder, and ham radio.7:48 The mast uses a tabernacle system for folding and trailer transport.16:39 Storage is available in deep cockpit lockers and under berths. *Nahoa M* relies on battery power for electronics and lighting, lacking built-in solar or generators.14:15
