The Hallberg-Rassy 48 is a German Frers-designed masthead sloop built by Hallberg-Rassy from 2004 to 2013, featuring a fin keel with a rudder on a partial skeg. It measures 15.0 m LOA, with a 4.5 m beam, 2.4 m draft, and 18500 kg displacement. Aboard *Halcyon Yachts - International Yacht Delivery*, a Hallberg-Rassy 48 named *Blue* was delivered from Bremen, Germany, to Ellos, Sweden, via the Kiel Canal and the Baltic Sea.3:19 The crew sailed *Blue* close-hauled in the Baltic, noting minimal slamming and no discomfort, arriving in Ellos just as gale-force winds began.6:13 The Hallberg-Rassy 48 has a comfort ratio of 38.7 and a sail area to displacement ratio of 18.0. A shallow draft option of 2.0 m was available.
