What the fleet has seen

The Island Spirit 410, as the fleet has seen it

Derived from the videos the fleet has analysed of this model. ▶ marks open the moment aboard.

The Island SPIRIT 410 is a 12.6-meter fractional sloop catamaran with a twin keel hull, designed by Albatross Marine Design (Thailand) and built by Island Spirit since 2018. It displaces 7500 kg and features a four-cabin, two-head layout with an open-concept salon that can be enclosed. The hull uses a grid-structure design for strength, and the factory in Thailand employs CNC machines for foam kits and a single-hit deck infusion process. Aboard *Sailing Doodles*, the crew sailed a 2026 model with twin 57 hp Yanmar engines, 800 watts of solar, B&G electronics, hydraulic steering, a Selden electric winch, and 10 kWh of lithium batteries. The boat's solar array sustained house batteries above 83% overnight in tropical conditions without shore power. The twin Yanmar engines allow the catamaran to spin in place, eliminating the need for a bow thruster. *The Sailing Doodles Podcast* noted electric drive reliability problems and a generator coolant pump failure, along with a faulty lithium battery module that prevented charging. The Island SPIRIT 410 is available in Charter, Personal Cruising, and Day Trip variants.
