The Lagoon 420 is a 12.6-meter fractional sloop catamaran, introduced in 2006 with a 2007 model year, and designed by Van Peteghem, Lauriot Prevost, and Lauriot-Prevost. Built by Lagoon Catamaran, it was advertised as the first series-produced sailboat with diesel-electric drives as standard equipment.4:11 The 420 has a 7.5-meter beam, a 1.3-meter draft, and displaces 7275 kg.
