The Lagoon 55 is a 16.6-meter luxury cruising catamaran, designed by VPLP Design with exterior styling by Patrick le Quement and interiors by Nauta Design, built by Lagoon from 2021. It features a fractional sloop rig, twin keels, a 9.0-meter beam, a 1.6-meter draft, and displaces 27,700 kg. *Practical Sailor* notes its 95-foot bridge clearance limits its use on the Intracoastal Waterway, while its 30-foot beam and 5-foot draft are optimized for large-group Caribbean chartering.2:45 The flybridge helm station includes winches and instruments for single-handed operation, and the main saloon offers a galley, navigation station, and convertible sunbed. Aboard *Sailing Parlay Revival*, the crew observed the 55's significant increase in beam and interior volume compared to their Lagoon 450.7:51 The vessel carries 291 gallons of diesel for its twin Yanmar 4J engines and 254 gallons of water.2:27
